We invite members of the public to be involved in the Australian Frailty Network. We especially welcome older people, people living with frailty, and their family and caregivers.
There are many ways that you can get involved in the AFN.
- Advise on our research and education activities as a consumer member of our research teams, work groups, or committees.
- Be a participant in our research studies.
- Come along to one of our events.
The Australian Frailty Network Consumer Advisory Board was established in October 2024 to bring together individuals with diverse lived and living experiences of frailty—whether due to medical conditions, disability, ageing, or caring for those experiencing frailty.
As a key part of AFN’s leadership and governance, the Advisory Board plays a vital role in shaping consumer engagement. We are excited to showcase the incredible contributions of this team, not only within the AFN but also in advancing consumer engagement in health nationwide
